Pressure on CTF account providers to take action is mounting

Danielle Higgins    22nd December, 2023

This report discusses the growing concerns and challenges surrounding unclaimed Child Trust Funds (CTFs) in the United Kingdom. CTFs were established by the government between 2005 and 2011 to provide financial support to young people as they enter adulthood. This report explores the latest developments, including the oral evidence presented to the Public Accounts Committee, the actions taken by CTF providers, and recommendations for addressing this issue.
